1. Matchday 9 page is now up. This is the game for this weekend. Check it out here.
   
2. LAFC Houstonians 02 has disbanded.
3. As LAFC Houstonians were to be the opponent for matchday 10 (last day), that means Saturday's game is going to be the last for the team this season.
4. Post-season party: Bashar had wanted to get the boys something special, but wasn't prepared to have the season end this early, and he will be out of town the following weekend. He was hoping to perhaps have a party during the first weekend of December.
5. Off-season soccer plans. There are camps run by Houston Express, the Dynamo, and others. There are tournaments galore. There are indoor soccer leagues. I will try to put a list together of options and a way for people to post what (if anything) their boys are planning or interested in.
6. Houston Dynamo! The Dynamo won the Western Conference semi-finals in exhilerating fashion last Sunday, scoring on a wonderstrike! They now face the LA Galaxy in a single game to determine the Western Conference champion on Friday at 10pm on ESPN2. Let your kids stay up late or record it for them to watch in the morning--it's better than Saturday morning cartoons and will help gear them up for the game against Chivas.
